Happy Valentines Day!
This month is flying by and we are almost to our home tournament/end of season! Huge shout out to everyone that has signed up on the volunteer sign up sheet for our tournament next weekend. Without you all we wouldn't be able to host these tournaments. I've attached the sign up sheet again as there are still 3 spots that need filled, so if you haven't signed up at all or if you are someone that signed up for a super quick 10min job maybe you could help out by signing up for a second spot so I don't have to assign them!

Another note: SMHA 8 Volunteer hours are separate from our home tournament. If you still need to get your hours in you can volunteer at the Provincials tournament being hosted by Stettler March 27-30th. If you already have your hours for this year you can still volunteer and bank hours for next season! Watch the SMHA website the volunteer signup will be out soon! You can also purchase Cash Calendar tickets to get hours. **If you do not complete these hours your volunteer check for $200, will be cashed after March.30 2025.**

The tournament marks the end of the season for 1st year players. The second year players will get 4 more practices on Monday February 24th, Wednesday February 26th, Monday March 3rd, and Wednesday March 5th @ 4:30-5:30pm. These practices will help ready these players moving up to U11 next season learning Offsides, Penalties and Full Ice skating. There is hope to secure some ice to potentially have a full Ice game as well but have to wait to see what's happening with older teams in playoffs.
